As a public figure, he disseminates kremlin propaganda narratives, systematically supports russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea, putin's policies, and the kremlin regime, distorts facts about the war against Ukraine, and glorifies the occupiers' war crimes. In particular, he stated that it was not the russian but the Ukrainian army that was responsible for the massacre of civilians in Bucha.

In 2025, Glushko expressed his desire to go to the front to teach art classes to russian soldiers.
He holds the military rank of senior lieutenant in the russian armed forces reserve.
In 2017, he visited the temporarily occupied Crimea to participate as a member of the jury in the "Pearl of the Black Sea-2017" beauty contest in Sevastopol.
