AGRANOVICH Vladimir Alexandrovich

A russian military correspondent and director who participates in russia’s information war against Ukraine and promotes narratives claiming that the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories belong to russia and must be further integrated into the political and cultural space of the russian federation. He is a member of the "public chamber" of the terrorist entity "DNR".
He engages in active propaganda activities, including writing and directing documentaries and series about the so-called "special military operation" and the war in Donbas, which justify russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. In particular, these films promote the message that the russian federation’s attack was "preemptive" and discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is also the author of the novella "Call Sign "Sailor," dedicated to the militants of the so-called DPR, in which the activities of illegal armed groups are presented in a positive and heroic light.
He uses his Telegram channel to promote fundraising for the needs of the russian army.
He received a state grant to create propaganda materials about Donbas and participated in film events where content justifying the actions of the russian armed forces on Ukrainian territory was shown, including the project "In the service of the fatherland".
He has been honored with awards for his cultural activities in the "new territories" and was awarded a medal by putin for "contributions to culture and art".
He has visited the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine on multiple occasions.
