ONUFRIIENKO Mykhailo Borysovych

russian blogger and propagandist who publicly supports russia's aggression against Ukraine, justifies the occupation of its territories, and calls for the creation of separatist authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
On his Telegram channel, he uses anti-Ukrainian rhetoric, calling Ukrainian military personnel "enemy meat", the Revolution of Dignity as a "coup", the Ukrainian government as a "junta", and the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas as an "eight-year genocide". He supports attacks on critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
He runs a blog on LiveJournal under the pseudonym "mikle1" and a channel on Rutube, where he accuses Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of "provoking war", calls for the "liberation of the russian city of Odesa", and spreads russian propaganda fakes about the "Nazism" of the Ukrainian military, etc.
As a military expert, he runs a video blog on the website of well-known russian propagandist Yuri Podolyaka, calling for "more active strikes on decision-making centers in Ukraine" and the complete destruction of the "Kyiv regime".
In 2025, Onufrienko co-authored a book with Sergei Vasilyev entitled "Cold March 14th", dedicated to the events of the Revolution of Dignity, particularly in Kharkiv. The publication is based on russian propaganda narratives and spreads anti-Ukrainian fakes, and its main goal is to justify the russian federation's armed aggression against Ukraine and glorify the russian occupation forces.
Prior to russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, Onufrienko was involved in business and politics in Ukraine. In particular, in 2009, he co-founded the pro-russian public organization "Velyka Rus — russia Ukraine Belarus", which "participated in protests across Ukraine" against "violent coups". In 2013, during the Revolution of Dignity, he spoke out in support of then-president Viktor Yanukovych. In 2014, after the victory of the Revolution of Dignity, he moved from Kharkiv to russian-occupied Crimea.
On March 30, 2022, the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol opened criminal proceedings against Onufrienko on charges of spreading disinformation with the aim of justifying russia's military aggression against Ukraine. In 2023, Onufrienko was charged with collaboration and justifying, recognizing as legitimate, and denying the russian federation's armed aggression against Ukraine.
