ROMANOV Vladimir Nikolayevich

A russian propagandist who actively supports the russian federation’s aggression against Ukraine. He systematically promotes kremlin narratives, calling the occupied territories of Ukraine "part of russia", justifying russia’s war against Ukraine, and producing a large volume of reports about the war in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
He is known as the author of the Telegram channel "Romanov Light", which has more than 136,000 subscribers. Through this channel, he distributes propaganda content, including his own photos and videos from the front that glorify russian soldiers and discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine by calling them "Nazis". He also publishes claims of towns and villages coming under russian control, at times citing "enemy resources" to confirm the information.
In May 2025, he filmed and posted on his Telegram channel a video from the Crimean Bridge following an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The footage was later widely circulated by russian propaganda media.
Through the "Romanov Light" channel bot, he calls for people to submit addresses of Ukrainian territorial recruitment centers and coordinates for strikes, promising "results" and "complete anonymity". This appeal is intended to collect intelligence for organizing attacks on Ukrainian recruitment centers, directly supporting the subversive activities of the russian federation and posing a threat to Ukraine’s national security.
He also raises funds for the russian army through another Telegram channel, "Romanov Help the Front", where he posts donation details and reports on the purchase of equipment for russian military units, including medical supplies and ATVs.
He has received awards from russian military units.
He resides in temporarily occupied Sevastopol and has repeatedly visited areas of active hostilities in eastern and southern Ukraine. He documented his presence in temporarily occupied Siverskodonetsk, Luhansk region (March 2023), and in Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region (June 2024).
In April 2023, he released a video from Polohivskyi district, Zaporizhzhia region, where he personally took part in combat and fired a russian Kornet anti-tank missile system at positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrating his direct participation in the war on the side of the occupying forces.
