YANSEN Ilya Sergeevich

Russian propagandist, blogger and a member of the so-called "SМO" who is actively involved in the information and armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. His activities are aimed at legitimizing the war, inciting ethnic hatred, justifying war crimes of the russian federation, spreading genocidal rhetoric against the Ukrainian people and are an integral part of russia's systemic information, psychological and armed aggression against Ukraine.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, Yansen stopped his commercial and political activities and joined the russian ministry of defense. Later, he voluntarily joined the units of the so-called "DPR", where he held the position of deputy commander for political work (deputy commander) in the 107th battalion, which later transformed into the 279th separate rifle battalion. Later, he moved on to work as an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles and participated in the development and testing of electronic warfare equipment, including the Ratibor anti-drone system, in cooperation with the russian Union Foundation.
In his public statements, Yansen has repeatedly called for the destruction of Ukraine as a state and Ukrainians as a nation. In particular, he stated: "Ukraine should burn and howl with hundreds and thousands of widows in the rear" and "Ukraine should no longer exist. Not in any form. No state, no name, no heroes, no symbols, no current leaders. All of this must be destroyed and forgotten forever."
Yansen actively runs the Telegram channel "Jansen | Z", which is used as a platform for spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda, discrediting Ukrainian statehood and calling for violence. He also participates in public speeches on pro-russian media resources, where he promotes the thesis that "Ukraine is an existential enemy of russia" that "cannot exist simultaneously with russia and not be at war."
