Reasons
A russian propagandist and military correspondent for the state news agency RIA Novosti, who actively supports and justifies the full-scale aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. He is directly involved in the information support of the hostilities, spreading kremlin narratives and discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, direct propaganda of the war and material support of the russian armed forces.
Hervé has a far-right background and tattoos with Nazi and fascist symbols, including the emblem of Mussolini's National Fascist Party, the Algis rune, and the phrase "Jedem das Seine" ("To each his own"), which corresponds to the inscription on the gate of the Buchenwald concentration camp. He himself admits to his past far-right affiliation, claiming that this experience now helps him "to ask questions to the captured Azov soldier correctly."
He participates in propaganda events, such as workshops and discussions, where he promotes pro-kremlin views on the war.
His drawings from the war zone have been exhibited at exhibitions, and he also contributed to the creation of a book in memory of another russian propagandist, Vladlen Tatarsky.
In addition to his information activities, Hervier is actively involved in the logistics of the russian occupation forces. Through his Telegram channel @gleberve, he organizes fundraisers for the needs of russian military units, including the purchase of DJI Mavic 3 reconnaissance drones and vehicles (buggies).
In addition, Herve published materials with his own participation in military operations, in particular from a "reconnaissance exit" in the Vuhledar direction, which blurs the line between journalistic activity and participation in hostilities.
