STARIKOV Nikolai Viktorovich

A politician, publicist and blogger who actively supports the aggressive policy of the russian federation towards Ukraine and is one of the public broadcasters of kremlin propaganda.
He is a co-founder of the Anti-Maidan russian ultra-patriotic social movement, created in 2015 to oppose democratic transformations in Ukraine and promote pro-russian narratives. He is also a member of the Central Council of the party "Just russia - Patriots - For Truth" and is an active member of the Izborsk Club, which brings together a number of ideologues and propagandists of the putin regime.
In addition, Starykov is a member of the All-russian Public Movement "People's Front "For russia", which was created on putin's initiative to monitor the implementation of his decrees/orders (it is under sanctions from the EU, Canada, Switzerland and Ukraine).
In his public statements, Starykov has repeatedly justified the occupation of Crimea, calling it "the return of historical justice." He openly supports russia's so-called "special military operation" against Ukraine, spreads disinformation narratives about alleged crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, accusing them of violating international humanitarian law.
In addition to informational activities, Starykov is involved in raising funds and medicines for the needs of the russian military, including wounded soldiers and medical personnel of the russian armed forces, which indicates his direct involvement in the material support of the war.
He has repeatedly visited the TOT of Ukraine, in particular Luhansk and Zaporizhzhya region, demonstrating support for the occupation administrations and contributing to the legitimization of their presence.
In his public statements, he calls for tough actions against Ukraine, including the use of heavy weapons.
He actively supports militaristic movements in russia, in particular the "Yunarmia", which indicates his participation in the processes of militarization of russian society and education of young people in the spirit of aggressive nationalism.
