In 2018, she was included in the list of putin's confidants in the presidential elections. She is a member of the putin Team movement, which supports putin in the presidential elections. She is an ambassador of the "People's Front. Everything for Victory" project and one of the curators of fundraising for the needs of the so-called "SMO participants". In particular, at the beginning of 2023, with more than 50 million rubles collected under the supervision of Chicherina, the "People's Front. Everything for Victory" project purchased and transferred radio stations, repeaters, chargers, antennas, additional power batteries and other consumables to the russian military. In November 2024, Chicherina organized a fundraiser for electronic warfare equipment for the russian Armed Forces.
In March 2022, she personally participated in the removal of the Ukrainian flag from the city administration building in temporarily occupied Energodar and installed the russian flag in temporarily occupied Melitopol.
In January 2023, she published an appeal on her own YouTube channel in which she called on servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to surrender to the russian army and threatened Ukrainian military with concentration camps in Siberia. She regularly appears in propaganda videos and films, and speaks to russian military personnel. Chicherina's repertoire is characterized by a significantly pronounced military theme.
In 2015, she performed at a New Year's concert at the Lenin Palace of Culture in temporarily occupied Luhansk as part of a "charity" event organized by the all-russian motorcycle club "Night Wolves" (under sanctions by the EU, the US, Ukraine and Switzerland). The motorcycle club "Night Wolves" is a key supporter of the russian government, actively supports russian state propaganda in russia, russia's war against Ukraine and russia's annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea, and is also closely associated with putin.
In 2016, together with the song and dance ensemble of the Central Military District of the russian Ministry of Defense, she performed for russian servicemen at the Khmeimim military base in Syria.

In October 2022, by decree of putin, Chicherina was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the russian federation.
Regularly visits the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, where she performs concerts for russian servicemen at military bases and on the front line.
In October 2023, the Security Service of Ukraine reported Chicherina in absentia on suspicion of war propaganda, justification of russian aggression in Ukraine, encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, and illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.
