member of the russian Writers' Union

Reasons
He is a well-known russian political strategist, publicist and author of propaganda materials that actively promote the narratives of the russian authorities to justify aggression against Ukraine. His activities are systematic, which indicates his deliberate participation in russia's hybrid war against Ukraine on the information front.
He is the author of the books "The Fate of the Empire. russian View of European Civilization", "The World Crisis. East and West in the New Century" and "The Fate of the Empire", as well as co-author of the book "The Ideology of russian Statehood", which is Sergeytsev's main work as part of his membership in the Zinoviev Club, an expert community for promoting the "fair image of russia" and its ideological and political influence in the international space.
He is the author of the articles "What kind of Ukraine we do not need" (2021) and "What russia should do with Ukraine" and "Why the West is afraid of denazification of Ukraine" (April 2022), published on the state resource RIA Novosti, which became a benchmark example of aggressive anti-Ukrainian propaganda. In these materials, Sergeytsev openly denies Ukraine's right to exist as a separate state and calls for its "denazification" and "de-Ukrainization". The articles caused international outrage due to their open calls for the destruction of Ukrainian national identity, which, in fact, constitutes an ideological justification for genocide.
Sergeytsev is also actively involved in public commentary on events, using the platforms of state-owned russian TV channels and publications, including Izvestia, RT, and RIA Novosti, where he promotes narratives about russia's alleged "liberation mission" in Ukraine.
His materials are actively replicated by russian media and Telegram channels in the russian-language information space, which ensures a wide resonance and direct influence on the formation of anti-Ukrainian public opinion in russia and among pro-russian audiences abroad.
In 2012, he co-produced and co-authored the script for the russian feature film "Match", which was recognized by the Ukrainian State Film Agency as propaganda and banned in 2014.
