KREMLIN`S MOUTHPIECES
There are 10 persons published that spread russian narratives and disinformation. Among them:
Yakov Kedmi (Kazakov) is a former Israeli diplomat, publicist and propagandist who actively supports russian foreign policy and the war against Ukraine, working for an international audience, using his Israeli background as a tool of credibility.
Graham Phillips is a British freelance journalist and blogger who has been working with the russian TV channels RT and Zvezda since 2014, has received numerous awards from the occupation administrations and security forces in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and was granted political asylum in russia in 2024.
Maksim Shugaley is the face of russia's soft power, one of the key figures in russian propaganda focusing on the African continent and the Middle East, associated with the russian Foundation for the Protection of National Values and the Wagner Group, and was detained in Libya and Chad in 2019 and 2024, respectively, on suspicion of election interference.
Ilya Yansen is a russian propagandist, blogger and participant in the war against Ukraine. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stopped his commercial and political activities and joined the russian ministry of defense, and later directly to serve in the units of the russian armed forces participating in the war against Ukraine.
Timofey Vasiliev (Vi) is the founder and administrator of the War on Fakes project, which is positioned as a fact-checking resource, but in fact acts as a tool for spreading disinformation and pro-russian narratives. As the head of the strategic management department of the Dialogue NGO, he was involved in Operation Doppelgänger, which involved the creation of fake news sites that imitated Western media to spread disinformation about the war against Ukraine.
Oleksiy Kostylov is the founder and editor-in-chief of the propaganda resource Readovka.news and the eponymous Telegram channel Readovka.

Over the year, the portal has become an open and effective tool for identifying, systematizing and publishing data on individuals, structures and technologies that support russian aggression against Ukraine.
During the year
- tens of thousands of individuals, companies and institutions that directly or indirectly support russian aggression were identified;
- thousands of references were received in Ukrainian and foreign media from 33 countries;
- a full-fledged basis for international sanctions, investigations and compliance checks has been formed;
- government agencies, financial institutions, corporations and non-governmental organizations around the world have become users of the portal.

DIU organises international hackathon for OSINT investigators

To the first anniversary of the War&Sanctions portal, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine is holding an open hackathon for OSINT investigators from around the world.
Ukrainian and foreign research teams, as well as independent OSINT investigators will prepare analytical materials for the existing sections of the portal, propose new thematic areas and conduct investigations based on the portal data, as part of the hackathon
The format is mixed (online and offline). Participants will complete tasks remotely within a certain timeframe.
Representatives of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, heads of central executive authorities and state bodies of Ukraine will evaluate the works and determine the winners.
The awards will be personally presented to the winners by the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov during the ceremony. For participants from abroad, an online format is provided

Valentin Gvozdev - a military correspondent for Channel One, reporting directly from the combat positions of the russian military, author of propaganda documentaries, speaker at the "School of the Young War Correspondents"
Oleksandr Talipov - a former Ukrainian border guard who defected to russia in 2014, owner of the "Crimean SMERSH" Telegram channel, which collects and publishes personal data of people who have anti-war and pro-Ukrainian views on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Oleksiy Zhyvov is a military volunteer-propagandist who covers the activities and collects aid for the russian "Espanyola" unit
Oleksandr Malkevich - one of the organisers of broadcasting in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, founder of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values (FPVN), which acted in the interests of Yevgeny Prigozhin and supported the operations of the Wagner PMC in Africa
Mikhail Zvinchuk is a former employee of the press service of the ministry of defence of the russian federation, founder and administrator of the Telegram channel "Rybar"
