Participates in an organized mechanism involving the mass abduction, unlawful deportation, and forcible transfer of Ukrainian children within Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories and to the russian federation under the guise of "health improvement, recreation, and education". Facilitates the "integration" of children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into russia’s unified cultural and educational environment and its system of civic and patriotic indoctrination by organizing activities aimed at the re-education and militarization of children in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Region.
In July 2026, together with the occupation authorities and representatives of the "ministries of culture and youth policy" of Kherson Oblast, he co-organized the exhibition "Heroes of Liberated Kherson Region", dedicated to the so-called heroes of the "special military operation". The exhibition featured 20 works of art created by children and young people, presented as "symbols of the territory’s return to russia", and is being displayed in settlements across the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Region.
In May 2026, Lavrentiev organized the municipal stage of the nationwide russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Region. During the event, he stated that children should honor russia’s military traditions.
