BESPALOVA Svetlana Edislavivna

Since April 2022, she has held the position of the so-called Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the "Republic of Crimea" and has been directly involved in implementing and enforcing the policies of the aggressor state in the fields of education, science, youth work, and the upbringing of minors on the peninsula.
Within the scope of her authority, she facilitates the integration of Crimean educational institutions into the russian educational system, the introduction of russian federation curricula and educational practices, the removal of the Ukrainian language, history, and culture from the educational process, and the cultivation of loyalty to the occupation authorities among children and young people.
On 16 October 2023, a ceremony marking the opening of the so-called Wall of Remembrance was held at the Rosinka kindergarten in the settlement of Nyzhnohirskyi, in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, with the participation of representatives of the occupation authorities. Children attending the preschool institution were involved in the propaganda event and held a red ribbon as a symbol of honoring the so-called "heroes of the special military operation". During the event, Bespalova stated that a unified system of patriotic education was being established in the territory of the "Republic of Crimea".
In April 2026, commenting on the results of a working meeting concerning the preparation of textbooks for the course "History of Our Region", Bespalova emphasized that their content should be based on so-called traditional russian spiritual and moral values.
