GKNIPS NAMED AFTER L.K. SAFRONOV FKP

A developer of aviation weapons for the russian military and army aviation: Su, MiG, and Tu aircraft, as well as Ka and Mi helicopters. Its products include air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles, guided missiles for anti-aircraft systems, launchers and catapult devices, bomb and torpedo racks, and passive countermeasure devices for protecting aircraft and helicopters, among others. It is part of the Tactical Missile Armament corporation.
As part of its cooperation in the production of Kh-59M2/Kh-59M2A guided air missiles, together with MKB Iskra JSC, it carries out the disarmament of small-sized solid-fuel rocket engines 9TK1D-00 (removed from D9M products) and the disposal of components 9G-2145 and 9D-2145.
As part of a cooperative on the production of the Su-57 multi-role fighters, it is testing the NNPU-50 fixed nose gun mounts.
At the request of PJSC "UAC," the Institute conducted research and development work on the topic "Preparation and conduct of acceptance tests for the Su-35S emergency ejection system with an optical countermeasure unit (OCU), equipped with a light-shielding curtain (ShS3), on the Su-35-L07 test stand".
