Reasons
A leading state-run research center in the russian aviation industry, located in Zhukovsky. The Institute’s main areas of activity include theoretical, experimental, and applied research in aerodynamics and flight dynamics, control systems, structural strength and aeroelasticity, aerothermodynamics and gas dynamics, advanced aircraft, unique experimental facilities, hydrodynamics and aeroacoustics, including developments in the field of nanotechnology, participation in aircraft testing and certification, the design of wind tunnels and test stands, and more.
At the request of UAC PJSC, the Institute conducted research and development work on the Su-57 and Su-35 fighter jets and their variants Su-35S for the russian ministry of defense, specifically on software for the SIVSP-35 airspeed measurement systems.
The Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) is russia's leading aerodynamic research center. Its specialized research center provides the computational and experimental infrastructure for the development of russian helicopters, including military combat helicopters. Employees of the Federal Autonomous Institution TsAGI (FAI TsAGI) are involved in theoretical, experimental, and applied research in aerodynamics and flight dynamics, control systems, structural strength and aeroelasticity, aerothermodynamics and gas dynamics, the development of advanced aircraft, the creation of unique experimental facilities, research in hydrodynamics and aeroacoustics, as well as aircraft testing and certification and the design of wind tunnels and test benches.
In particular, specialists of the Institute have been involved in research and development (R&D) activities commissioned by PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC), related to the development and improvement of Su-57 and Su-35 fighter aircraft, including the Su-35S modification, for the needs of the russian ministry of defense. These activities included the development of software for the SI VSP-35 airspeed parameter measurement system.
