TACTICAL MISSILE ARMAMENT CORPORATION JSC

One of russia’s largest state-owned defense holding companies, specializing in the development and production of high-precision aviation, naval, and coastal missile systems, as well as underwater systems. The holding company was established in 2002 on the basis of the state-owned research and production center "Zvezda-Strela" and currently comprises about 40 defense enterprises, design bureaus, and factories. The holding company is the primary supplier of weapons systems for the russian air force and navy. It mass-produces and modernizes:
- cruise missiles (the Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-59, Kh-35, Kh-31, and "Izdelie-30" families);
- guided aerial bombs (KAB-500, KAB-1500);
- guidance and correction modules (UMPK) for conventional bombs;
- "Bal" and "Bastion" anti-ship missile systems;
- torpedoes and anti-submarine systems;
- air-to-air weapons, etc.
The corporation plays an active role in executing the State Defense Order (SDO) for the supply of Kh-101 air-launched strategic cruise missiles and Kh-59M2/Kh-59M2A guided air-to-surface missiles, including by:
- monitoring performance under state contracts;
- convening operational staff meetings with the management of companies participating in the production cooperation;
- approving delivery schedules for components and equipment, among other functions.
Within the framework of the industrial cooperation for UMPB production, the company holds the relevant patent, organizes manufacturing, and coordinates the actions of the participating companies.
As part of the cooperation in the production of UMPK modules, the final assembly of the UMPK-500M is carried out at the corporation's production facilities in Korolyov. In addition, the corporation conducts inspections and tests of UMPK modules and provides its employees to carry out field work at forward operating bases.
As part of the cooperation on the production of 3M22 "Zircon" ballistic missiles, the company monitors the progress of government contracts for the supply of these missiles under the state defense procurement program and holds periodic meetings of the operational headquarters with the participation of executives from the companies that are part of this cooperation.
