Reasons
A leading research institution in russia specializing in the study of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter and the development of new radiophysical technologies.
The institute is a key partner of Sukhoi Design Bureau in the development and implementation of stealth technologies for modern fighter aircraft, in particular for Su-34, Su-57 and Su-35S. On the basis of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, with the participation of the Institute, a laboratory and research complex is operating to measure the radar characteristics of full-size aircraft and their individual units. The Institute develops composite materials and multilayer coatings that absorb or scatter radar signals, as well as special coatings for internal air intake ducts and engine components, which are among the most "visible" parts of an aircraft in the radio range.
As part of a cooperation on the production of Su-57 multi-role fighters, the company is developing and applying radio-absorbing coatings (RAC) to components of these aircraft, specifically on the "Jasmine-50(30)" antenna-feeder systems and the PNA-PLA-04 consumer jamming protection equipment.
