The aircraft manufacturing holding of the russian state corporation Rostec, which includes all major russian aircraft manufacturing companies and design bureaus.
It produces Sukhoi, MiG, Il, Tu, Yak, Beriev, Superjet 100, and MS-21 aircraft, including strategic bombers and fighters.
UAC enterprises carry out work on the creation and support of the full life cycle of aircraft: development, production, sale, operation support, warranty and maintenance, modernization, repair and utilization of civil and military aircraft.
The corporation is the main manufacturer of the Su-34 fighter-bombers and the Su-57 and Su-35S multi-role fighters. It also oversees the repair and modernization of MiG-31 interceptors as part of the russian federation’s state defense order, develops the S-71K "Kover" and S-71M "Monochrome" cruise aircraft missiles, among other activities.
As part of the cooperation on the production of the Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles, the A.I. Mikoyan Design Bureau, which is part of UAC PJSC, is responsible for a part of the research and development work (R&D) involving bench testing of the results of software modifications to the 9-M-7760 carrier aircraft to ensure the deployment of missiles equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead (OFBCh). In addition, the Design Bureau is participating in preliminary and state joint tests of the upgraded 9-A-7760 airborne missile system.
