The tanker, during the period of the oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products, in particular from russian ports on the Baltic Sea.
In May 2024, the tanker transported more than 620,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (seller PJSC Surgutneftegaz) from the port of Ust-Luga to India.
In September 2024, the tanker transported 730,000 barrels of russian Urals oil (seller PJSC Oil Company Rosneft) from the port of Ust-Luga to Turkey.
In October 2024, the tanker transported over 620,000 barrels of russian Urals oil (seller PJSC Lukoil) from the Sheskharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk to Turkey.
In January 2025, the tanker transported 730,000 barrels of russian Urals oil (seller PJSC Oil Company Rosneft) from the port of Primorsk to the PRC.
The vessel is involved in the oil sector of the russian dederation's economy, the revenues from which are one of the most important sources of income for the aggressor state's budget.
On December 13, 2025, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the vessel.
