Description:
In the lower part of the sheet is a white silhouette of a belted image of a woman with her hands chained around her head. Behind her, on a black background, white hatching depicts: a woman holding a child, a girl with a rope around her neck, an elderly man with a mustache, and a woman with a dead man.
Monogram at lower right: Popov N.T. 65.
Below the print: 5/15 "Curse" (from the series "Years of Occupation"). Signed and dated by the author: 1965, below - 42.
On the back in the lower right corner in graphite pencil: Popov N.T. The Curse. Reg. 28051 inv. 13482. In the lower left corner: 6 in a circle.
General yellowing and creasing of the sheet. At the corners traces of mounting.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
