Description:
View from below. In the foreground to the left is a wagon with ore. In the upper left part of the sheet is a full-length image of two men in a ¾ turn to the left. The figures are illuminated by the reflection of flames coming from a tall black furnace on the right. The first worker, leaning forward, holds a long pole. The second holds a rod with a loop at the end.
Under the image is an inscription in graphite pencil: 10/12 "At the open-hearth". From the series "In the hot shops". Signed on the right: "V.V. Panfilov".
On the verso, lower right, in graphite pencil: "Panfilov V.V. At the open-hearth reg. 28953 inv. no. 14113".
General yellowing of the sheet. On the edges of the sheet yellow streaks of fading. At the bottom right is a tear in the upper layer of the sheet and a dirty semicircular stain.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
