Description:
A little to the right of the center of the sheet, in a puff of smoke and flames, is the figure of a man in a white shirt, tied to a post. His head with disheveled hair and beard is turned to the right, as if turning away from the cross held out to him by a monk who is turning his right profile. The monk is surrounded by hooded figures. In the lower right corner of the sheet is a head with a tonneau.
Under the image is the author's inscription in graphite pencil: Heretic T.G. Shevchenko. To the right is a signature.
On the verso right in graphite pencil: "Panfilov V.V. Based on the works of Shevchenko" Heretic ". Reg. No. 26652 inv. No. 13171.
Light yellowing of the sheet. Spots of iron bacteria. Along the upper edge of the traces of mounting. The lower left corner is bent.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
