Description:
Spring landscape, flood. The river, spilling over in five streams, goes deep into the composition. In the foreground and background on the right, two banks are covered with snow, and on the second, thin trees are bare. To the left are trees standing in the water and reflecting in it, with birds on the tallest dark tree. Behind the trees on the left is a high, steep bank cut off by the left edge of the sheet. There are flying birds in the sky in the middle. The work is executed in gray and turquoise colors.
Under the image is an inscription in graphite pencil: on the left - "In the Spring", on the right - V. Myronenko.
On the reverse, lower right, in graphite pencil: V.F. Myronenko In the spring reg. 24546 inv. III 89.
On the front side on the white field and at the bottom of the yellow glue stains, traces of iron bacteria.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
