Description:
A genre composition with a high horizon line. In the foreground, on a dark green-brown square, two full-length women are standing opposite each other in long dresses. On the left is a woman in a blue dress in a 3/4 turn to the right, her head is in the right profile, holding a bouquet of red flowers in front of her. To the right is a woman in a brown dress in a 3/4 turn to the left, head in a left profile, holding a boy in gray. Between them, at their feet, there is a five-petaled flower in a brown outline. The figures of the women are painted in a generalized way. In the background is a horizontal gray-brown stone fence with arched openings in the middle. To the right of the fence is a building with a gable roof and black window openings, and to the left is a green and gray bell tower with a chapter (the upper part of the chapter is cut off by the edge of the composition). The sky is dark and cloudy. The color is based on a combination of dark colors: blue, green, gray-brown. The painting is painted with broad, dense strokes. In the lower right corner of the picture is a brown paint stain: SAVICKAS - 86. On the stretcher at the top in red paint: "Savickas R.A. Prie senorine's sienas. 1986. Orb. Olia. 142х132". In black paint: "Savytskas R.A. b. 1955, at the old wall. Kh., m., 1986, 142 x 132".

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
