Description:
In the center on a dark gray background is a generational image of a soldier and a woman in left profile. The woman is wearing a lilac shawl, a black jacket, a light dress (?), and is holding a jug. A man wearing a leotard, a pilot's cap, holding a basin and a broom. To the right, cut off by the edge of the canvas, is a child in a ¾ turn to the left, whose head is tied with a light shawl. Behind the child are willow branches.
Lower right in blue paint: Arapov 65.
In the upper left corner of the canvas in blue: "On vacation" 112 x 147 cm. h/m Arapov V.M. Leningrad. In black pencil on the back of the stretcher: d. Leningrad. In blue: VK 57334 43/67. In the lower left part, closer to the center, the paint layer is falling off, puncture and swelling of the canvas.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
