Description:
Evening mountainous landscape. In the foreground, in the center, with her back to the viewer, is the figure of a woman wearing a headscarf. She holds buckets in both hands. The direction of her movement is deep into the composition. To her right is a man climbing up a hill and a boy pushing a goat to the right. To the left is a horse carrying a barrel, with a man beside it (direction of movement - left to the edge of the sheet). From the front edge down to the river are wooden one-story houses. In the background is the river (from the lower left edge to the middle of the right) with a bridge. To the right, in the background, is a high, steep mountain with buildings. In the background is a gentle, blue-green bank with a flat horizon line. The sky is yellow with gray cumulus clouds.
On the reverse, on the left, in graphite pencil, "35" (in a circle), on the top right, in red pencil, "63" (in a circle). Almost in the center, in green pencil, "112" (in a triangle). In the lower right, in graphite pencil, "29" (in a circle). Yellowing and grooving of the sheet. Punctures in the corners and in the center of the edges.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
