Description:
There are several motifs depicting a botanical garden, separated from each other by intertwining branches. The central composition is a corner of a greenhouse. On the right is an alley with several figures on it. To the left are tall palm trees, banana trees, and a fern. In the background to the right is a part of the wall under glass with a ceiling. Lower composition: snowy terrain. In the foreground, in the center, are the figures of 2 men with shovels. In the background - a view of the greenhouse. The composition at the top right is a round pool with plants growing in it. The plants have large round leaves. Composition at the top left: from the center of the foreground, deep into the composition to the door, there is an alley along which camellias grow. At the door are 3 men. Above the image is an inscription: "Imperial Botanical Garden in St. Petersburg".

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
