Description:
The sheet combines four compositions. 1 composition. Above in the center is a full-length bust of the metropolitan in front. He is wearing a hat decorated with precious stones and holding a staff in his right hand. Behind him is a church procession with burning candles, candles in candlesticks. 2nd composition. The altar part of the church and two praying figures. 3rd composition. Park, deep in which you can see the house, the church. 4 composition. Architectural drawing. In the center is the top of the bell tower, with 2 bells on either side. Above the inscription: "Gregory, Metropolitan of Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Estonia and Finland, who died on June 17, 1869, in the Alexander Lavra in St. Petersburg". Below: "Bell "Blagovestnik" given by the Emperor Alexander II to the Solovetsky monastery".

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
