Description:
The composition consists of several pictorial motifs separated from each other by thin contours, sometimes turning into floral ornaments. The main motif is in the upper center: an image of a wide valley. In the foreground, on the right, near the thick trunks of two trees, and on the left, there are figures of people with their backs turned, watching the actions taking place in the valley. In the background are a number of horsemen, and in the background are lines of troops. Above the image on the right: "National holiday... A.A..". Above all of the images above is a ribbon with the following inscriptions: "Journey of E.I.V. .....an heir. 1860". The motif to the right of the main one: inside a large cave, with two trees growing at the entrance (in the background on the right), there are small figures of people. Deep in the center is the entrance, figures of people. Above the image: "Cave ....". The motif to the left of the main motif: in the center is a two-story building with a four-column portal and an attached one-story building. In the square in front of it are figures of people; in the foreground in the center is a carriage with 4 horses. To the left is the village. Above the image: "Arrival in Cremona". The motif in the lower center is the ruins of two tall towers, with 2 figures to the right of them and trees behind them. Below the image: "The ruins of the castle of Cremona".
State of preservation: Yellowing along the edges of the sheet, edges creased, stains of iron bacteria.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
