Description:
Interior. To the left of the center of the composition near the wall is a table covered with a checkered oilcloth with blue ornaments, two wooden chairs, on the table ¾ of the way to the right is a naked child sitting with a spoon in his hand, in front of him is a blue jug, to the right are three pigeons (two pecking at grain from a blue bowl). The background is the wall of a room covered with light brown wallpaper with geometric yellowish-brown ornaments. In the center is a three-pane window with the right sash open, in the glass of which is the reflection of a child. There are pink curtains on the sides of the window. There are two black pigeons in the window opening. The view from the window shows a garden and a vegetable garden, with one-story houses in the background. In the lower right corner in brown paint is a signature and date: "Sergeev 1977". The right side of the image of the cornice is smeared.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
