Description:
Against a background of a gray stone building (left), mountains and green trees (right), three seated angels, full-length, at a round table with three bowls on legs. In the center, head 3/4 turn left, wearing red chiton and dark blue garment, right hand in bowl, left hand raised; to the right, head and figure 3/4 turn left, wearing dark green chiton, red garment, right hand near bowl, left hand on knees, bare feet on foot; left - head and figure 3/4 turn to the right, wearing dark blue chiton, red garment, arms raised, right toe extended, bare feet on the foot. To the left is a full-length figure of Abraham, with beard, wearing a red robe and green garment; behind him is a full-length image of Sarah. He wears a white plat, a green tunic, and a red cloak. The halos have black lettering: Sarah of Abraham c. The background of the icon and halos are covered with gold leaf. The field of the icon is painted in dark ochre color, with a dark green field at the edges. At the top of the field is an inscription in black: SHBRA PRETSED TRON. The icon was painted by a primitive artist. Roughly painted are the angels' clothes, a tree, and a mountain. The bowls are painted with a yellow outline and resemble glass wine glasses in shape.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
