Description:
In the center of the composition on a light background is a tall brown vase with a camellia growing in it. It has two blossomed flowers and seven buds. To the right of the flowerpot is a white rectangular box with soil and three small flowerpots. In the foreground is a yellow folding meter and a gray fabric draped in deep stiff folds. The background is a light gray wall, on the right is a reproduction of the "St George the Victorious" icon, on the left is a vertical brown drapery. A picture is attached to the wall, facing the viewer and covering the icon.
In the lower left corner in light red paint: "A.Nikych, ‘64" ("А.Никич, 64"). On the bottom left is a sticker: "exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the USSR" ("выставочный зал Союза художников СССР"). Above with a black felt-tip pen: "Nikych, still life with camellia" ("Никич, н-т с камелией"). Art work was enveloped, that is, completely closed.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
