Description:
Knee-length image of a young man sitting at a table in a green chair. Head and figure turn 3/4 to the right. The hands are folded on the knees, the hands are crossed, a papyrus in the fingers. Dressed in a blue jacket and gray striped trousers, a white shirt with a stand-up collar and a bow tie. The table is covered with a red tablecloth, on it is a saucer with a glass of tea, boxes of matches, and a newspaper. A window on the right, a door jamb on the left. The background is gray. On the back, above on the stretcher in white paint and – "325". Crossed out "Donation" ("в Дар") with a red pencil. On the stretcher on the right - x - 48 and #19 ("№19") in red pencil. Two large breakthroughs on the face (3-4 cm). Hole - 1 cm in the upper right corner, point breaks and scree on the background. Scratches on the edge of the stretcher.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
