Description:
The composition consists of three parts. From above, the exterior of a tent Orthodox church behind a fence. In the foreground are figures of parishioners. The second part of the composition is bounded from above by a banner and a badge, which are entwined with vines with an overturned banner. Above is the coat of arms and ribbon, with an inscription in the field. A panicle is attached to the lower edge. To the right is an interior view of the church. In the foreground are figures of people and clergymen facing the altar wall. To the left is the main entrance with a porch filled with figures of soldiers, priests, and parishioners with icons and banners. At the bottom of the ribbon is the inscription: "A cross procession around the church..." Below, from left to right: 1861 г. Russian art sheet No. 36. General yellowing of the sheet, writing, stains of iron bacteria.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
