Description:
To the right and left are lilac bushes. In the centre is a table made of logs. On it are a samovar and two cups, a dish and a teapot. Under the dish is a white drapery with light orange stripes. To the left is a high-backed log bench. There is a blue drapery on the back. The background is a wall of logs and a window with bars.
In the lower left corner is the author's signature in red paint: P. Stolyarenko.
In the upper left corner in red ocher author's inscription: "P. K. Stolyarenko 1925. "In the Garden in Spring" c.m. 72x91. 1980 г. Yalta". In the lower left corner of the passport of the State Treasury inv. № 25506. On the stretcher at the bottom left is a sticker of the Dnipro State Art Museum VX 6714.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
