Description:
Summer landscape with a low horizon line. In the foreground is a part of the lake, on the surface of the water are blue-pink-green circles diverging in different directions. In the background, on the right, is a green sprawling tree that leans slightly to the right. In the foreground, on the left, is a tree and green bushes. The sky is blue with light white clouds near the horizon with a pink tint. The landscape is painted with mosaic strokes.
In the upper right quarter in ink: "Evening. 1934" ("Вечер. 1934"), lower left in red paint: "KHEM Zh-210" ("ХЕМ Ж-210"), "KHEM Kp/1082" ("ХЕМ Кп/1082"). The linoleum is broken vertically at a distance of 6 cm from the left edge. The paint layer is not damaged in the lower and upper parts of the fracture, the oil layer is damaged in the upper part.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
