Description:
A large part of the picture plane is occupied by the image of grayish-brown rocky mountains, covered in sparse greenery in some places, which descend from the right corner diagonally and form a jagged shore. On the left is a strip of sea. High horizon line. The sky is blue, turning to the horizon line and acquiring a grayish-pink hue. Signature at the bottom right: "P. Yablunovskyi. ‘61" ("П. Яблоновский. 61 г.").
At the bottom right: "P. Yablunovskyi. ‘61" ("П. Яблоновский. 61 г.").. On the back on the stretcher: "Yablunovskyi P. ‘Crimean landscape’ 100x80" ("Яблоновский П. ‘Крымский пейзаж’ 100х80"). Passport of the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine listed No. 10564.
Condition: general contamination of the canvas. At the top left is a tear in the canvas (0.3x0.5 cm) with loss of the oil layer. In the upper right corner is a point tear in the canvas. At the bottom left are three-point tears in the canvas. The stretcher is blank.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
