Description:
Summer sunny landscape. In the foreground is a water surface, where the sky, clouds, shore and trees are reflected. On the right are two sprawling trees on a gentle shore, a dark green boat with a red bottom, the nose of which is cut off by the edge of the picture. In the background, on the left is a green hill with overgrown trees and an ocher path that goes from right to left into the depth of the composition. In the background, in the center, are two light houses of different heights with gray flat roofs. At the top is a tower with a red-blue flag. The sky is blue with curly clouds. On the left is the author's signature in black paint: "Y. Volkov" ("Е.Волков"). The stretcher is sliding on pegs with a vertical membrane. One peg is missing. The canvas is duplicated with a new one. General contamination. Along the upper edge are horizontal creases. Losses of the paint layer and soil behind the stretcher line. Bottom right, loss of paint layer with damage to the ground, below three drops of paint layer. Long scratches to the left of the right edge. Traces of craquelure are visible below under the varnish layer.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
