Description:
Summer landscape with a high horizon line. In the foreground is pale green grass. Behind it is a wide strip of light brown water. Across the water, a low red-and-white wooden bridge is thrown, depicted diagonally from left to right to the center. In the background is a small sandy hill overgrown with green grass and tall trees. To the right, on a hill, two women descend to the bridge with a dog running in front. One is wearing a light gray hat, jacket, and gray skirt - her left hand is resting on a stick. The second is wearing a dark gray long sweater and brown skirt, holding the first under her arm. To the left of the bridge in the water are four logs and a low wooden fence. At the bottom right, the author's signature in brown paint: “A. Schilder” (“А. Шильдер”). The artwork is matted. The canvas is sagging. Three holes in the bottom center and to the right. Two paint and soil deposits at the top near the right edge.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
