As the head of a regional authority in the russian federation, supports and implements putin's policy regarding the deportation of Ukrainian children who were relocated from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the territory of the russian federation, facilitating the 'integration' of children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into the unified cultural-educational space and the system of civil-patriotic education of the russian federation.
As a result of targeted and coordinated actions by representatives of the russian authorities as of December 2022, more than 1,000 children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were enrolled in kindergartens in the Rostov Region, over 5,300 children were enrolled in russian schools, and more than 500 children became students of russian higher education institutions.
According to the report of the Rostov Region government for 2022, more than 2,200 children from 'Donbas and Ukraine territories' were accommodated in children's camps, and 1,184 children 'without legal guardians' were placed under preliminary guardianship. Additionally, according to the Ministry of Education data for the region for 2022, 534 children were placed under guardianship. Over 500 children from orphanages and boarding schools 'evacuated from Donbas' were accommodated in the 'Romashka' sports and recreation complex in the Rostov Region.
