Participates in an organized mechanism of mass abduction, illegal deportation and forced displacement of Ukrainian children within the TOT of Ukraine and to the russian federation by conducting activities aimed at re-educating and militarizing children in the TOT of Ukraine.
The organization carries out the so-called "military-patriotic" education of young people in the TOT of Ukraine, as well as their preparation for service in the armed forces of the russian federation. The organization's priority is initial military training in schools, as well as training of citizens in military specialties with the introduction of additional classes on the basics of general military training. As instructors, the organization engages trained professionals with combat experience in the so-called "SMO" zone. A large network of DOSAAF clubs, schools and centers organizes training for citizens of pre-conscription and conscription age, as well as those already participating in hostilities.
It systematically organizes and conducts military sports events in the TOT of Ukraine, and publicly calls for military service under contract on its official website.
It officially cooperates with the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation, the United russia party, the All-russian socio-political movement People's Front for russia, the Moscow Regional Organization of Veterans and Security Forces, and many other federal institutions and public organizations whose activities are aimed at supporting the russian regime. Since 2016, DOSAAF of russia is a co-founder of the All-russian children's military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmia".
In August 2024, DOSAAF together with the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation prepared a draft law regulating the activities of DOSAAF. The document clarifies and expands the tasks of the organization, in particular, with regard to the training of fighters of the military. One of the key innovations is that the draft law provides for direct financing of the organization from the state budget, whereas now subsidies are provided, in particular, through the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Enlightment of russia.

Systematically involves children and youth of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions in events in support of the russian armed forces.
It cooperates with a number of other russian re-educational organizations working for the TOT of Ukraine, including the regional branch of the Young Guard of the United russia, the regional headquarters of the all-russian project "#MYVMESTE", and the public movement "Volunteers of Victory".
She publicly supported the referendum on the accession of Zaporizhzhia region to the russian federation.

Ensures the functioning of the Non-profit public organization "Children and youth military-patriotic association named after the hero of the Donetsk People's Republic Grishin O.G." (VPO DPR named after Oleg Grishin), whose activities are aimed at the so-called "military-patriotic" education of young people in Donetsk, as well as their preparation for service in the armed forces of the so-called "DPR".
