In accordance with his official duties, the Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the russian federation "State Hermitage" M. B. Piotrovsky:
- implements the state targeted programmes of the russian federation, which include archaeological work in the occupied territories of Ukraine and the illegal transfer of Ukrainian cultural property;
- provides mandatory cover letters to scientists (representatives of the Hermitage) in order to obtain open letters for archaeological work in the occupied territories of Ukraine;
