Reasons
Systematically supports and justifies the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea by russia, putin's policy and the kremlin regime, glorifies the participants of the so-called "SMO".
In his public statements, he uses anti-Ukrainian rhetoric, spreads typical narratives of kremlin propaganda, in particular, he claims about "Ukrainian nationalists", "Bandera" and russophobia in Ukraine. He calls russia's war against Ukraine a "bold and forced decision".
As co-chair of the regional headquarters of the All-russian public movement "People's Front "For russia"" (under sanctions from the EU, Canada, Switzerland and Ukraine), which was created at putin's initiative to monitor the implementation of his decrees/instructions and conduct campaign activities in electoral processes, he participated in putin's election campaign during the 2024 presidential elections.
He is the organizer of the "Culture to Help Donbas" project, within the framework of which he regularly visits the sites of hostilities with concerts, creative meetings and humanitarian aid. In particular, in 2023 he visited the training ground in Primorye, where mobilized soldiers undergo training before going to war in Ukraine, in December 2023 he visited russian servicemen who were undergoing treatment in the 39th Separate Medical Detachment on the territory of the so-called "LPR", in July 2024 he visited wounded participants of the called "SMO" in a hospital in the so-called "DPR" and handed them humanitarian aid.
He is an active participant in the project "People's Front. Everything for Victory" and one of the curators of fundraising for the needs of the so-called "SMO participants". In particular, in 2022 he organized a fundraising for the needs of one of the russian military units and, together with the project "People's Front. Everything for Victory", purchased and personally delivered to the front line bulletproof vests, helmets, walkie-talkies, quadcopters, tactical first-aid kits, laptops, thermal imagers, sights, night vision devices, sleeping bags, containers and disinfectants for water, equipment and footwear.
Systematically visits the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
