Systematically supports and justifies the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea by russia, putin's policy and the kremlin regime, spreading typical narratives of kremlin propaganda.
He is the author of the term "russian Spring" and one of the authors of the "russian Donbas" doctrine, according to which the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" are proclaimed "national states of the russian people". He is also an active supporter of the so-called "Novorossiya", advocated open intervention of the russian federation in Ukraine.
He is known for his aggressive anti-Ukrainian rhetoric. In particular, in his public statements he called for the destruction of Ukraine as a state, stated that "if the choice arises between the victory of Ukraine and a global nuclear war, then a nuclear war is better" and that "Crimea must be finally "cleansed" of symbols of Ukrainian statehood". He is also a staunch supporter of military actions and spoke out against peace negotiations with the demand to capture Kyiv.
He is the host of the author's program "Kholmogory Carving" on Radio Sputnik, in which he regularly covers the chronicles of political events and russia's war against Ukraine in favor of the russian government, glorifies the russian military, manipulates socially important information and distorts facts related to events on the battlefield.
He is an expert of the Izbor Club - a community of experts studying the foreign and domestic policy of russia, one of the key tasks of which is "to promote the formation of a powerful political and ideological coalition of patriot-statesmen, an imperial front that opposes the manipulations carried out in russian politics by foreign centers of influence and the "fifth column" from within the country".
In 2020, he actively supported amendments to the russian constitution, which allowed putin to be re-elected for two more terms - in 2024 and in 2030.
He repeatedly visited the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to participate in propaganda events.
