He is associated with the activities of the "Free City of Odesa" project, aimed at implementing a number of provocations and information sabotage in the Odessa region, which are supposed to demonstrate the alleged presence of the so-called "underground and reactive anti-Ukrainian sentiments of the population" in the region.
He is a frequent guest on the show "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov", where he speaks out about the events on the battlefield.
In June 2023, he took part in putin's meeting with military correspondents who carry out their activities in the so-called "SMO" zone.
In 2014, he was awarded the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" for "objective coverage of events in Crimea", as well as the medal "For the Return of Crimea".
