He systematically supports the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine and heroizes the war crimes of the occupiers, supports putin's policy and the kremlin regime.
He was putin's confidant during the 2012 and 2018 elections, is a member of the putin Team movement, which supports putin in the presidential elections, and the People's Front for russia public association (under sanctions from the EU, Canada, Switzerland and Ukraine), created at putin's initiative to monitor the implementation of his decrees/orders and to campaign in the election process. He was a member of the initiative group to nominate putin as a candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
In 2022, he publicly supported russia's invasion of Ukraine, stating that "russia has never waged war on Ukraine," justified his support with the russian propaganda narrative of "liberating" Ukraine, and publicly supported the russian military.
