As the Minister of Education of the Irkutsk region is responsible for implementing putin's policy of forcibly relocating Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the territory of the russian federation.
According to Parfyonov, as of August 2022, families with 45 children, including 31 schoolchildren, arrived in the Irkutsk region from the so-called 'LNR/DNR,' with 13 of them placed in schools in Irkutsk, Bratsk, Sayansk, and Shelekhov district.
They promote the integration of Ukrainian children into the unified cultural and educational space and the civil-patriotic education system of russia, aiming to eradicate Ukrainian identity, change national self-identification, and impose the ideology of the 'russian world.'
