As the Presidential Ombudsperson for Children's Rights in Khabarovsk Krai supports and implements Putin's policy of deporting Ukrainian children who were displaced from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the territory of the Russian Federation, he is directly responsible for the policy of forced displacement of Ukrainian citizens to the territory of the Russian Federation, namely for the illegal placement of ‘refugees’, including children from Ukraine, in the region.
In accordance with the order of the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai of 24 February 2022
No. 88-r, the Commissioner is a member of the Khabarovsk Krai working group for the coordination of work to ensure the temporary social and domestic accommodation of citizens of the Russian Federation, Ukraine and stateless persons permanently residing in Ukraine who arrived in the territory of Khabarovsk Krai in a mass emergency (at least 113 children).
